A) I know after our performances in front of goal last year suggested it, but hitting the target is what a forward is meant to do!

C) would you want to move to Sunderland? I know liverpools not the most attractive city but Sunderland, c'mon

at 24 and seeking a boost in my career? sure i'd choose the stiffs and end up getting ****e all wages for the rest of my career over sunderland.. .sure!

I think people are being harsh on Borini here.

He asked for 90k a week at a club that was paying 70k for Joey Barton. Its not really ridiculous at all.

Better than Brighton. <ok>

Bit harsh. He wanted to stay and fight for the first team last year.... We all moan when players show no loyalty (sterling) then moan when a player does show some loyalty and fight.

Feel sorry for him as he should have been given a proper chance last year when we had no Sturridge. He fits better than Lambert and balotelli did.

I appreciate Borini rating his own abilities as a player should. He had the passion and belief that he was good enough. The problem was, no one from the club (I'm looking at you Brod) had the balls to pull him to one side tell him bluntly that he was going to play so he needed to go.

surely loaning him out and then accepting a bid from that club to sell him after the loan spell should have told him everything he needed to know!

And you know this how, exactly?
Wouldn't hardly ever getting a game be a big enough hint?
Really, one minute Rodgers is so arrogant he never listens to anyone, and the next minute he's a eunuch- all depending one which is the most plausible stick to beat him with at the time.
We really need to get some consistency in our condemnations here.

I don't know, however...

He was out on loan to Sunderland in 2013-14. We got the offer in the summer of 2014. He refused to leave and wanted to stay and fight for his place. Since he sat on the bench and hardly played throughout 2014-15 after the club had accepted a offer, it is fairly obvious he wasn't wanted yet was allowed to stay. Fair enough, he could have been told to go but then I guess that makes him a money grabbing ****. More fool me for giving him the benefit of doubt in thinking it wasn't made clear to him that he wouldn't feature <laugh>

As for your "one minute this and another minute something else", as I've pointed out many many times on these boards, there are a lot of different users on this site each with a varying opinion and view. We won't all agree on things but just because someone else as said one thing does make me hypocritical because I've said something different.

You could be right, but we can't know that for sure.
I just think that on our board, in order to be given the blame for everything, Rodgers has become this Jekyll and Hyde character, accused of acting in completely different ways in order to suit the current criticism.

I defend Brod more than I criticise him. Have you not seen me continuously having a pop at Jimmy? <laugh>

That's interesting Rondon to West Brom....

Can't see it myself, but would be massive for them if true. We wanted him not that long ago according to reports <laugh>

Wants to get out of Russia, agent working over time?

Linking to West Brom screams 'come and get me' to any EL team around Europe.

Most likely. Can't see West Brom landing him - unless he wants a season in the window in the PL. All the same I'd be surprised if someone like Spurs didn't snap him up - they badly need someone up top as they only really have Kane, and it's not granted he'll repeat last season - or stay fit etc.

Would be a good move for club and player if he went to Spurs imo.
