Good Morning Everyone,
Leeds fans are the most vocal on Twitter out of all 92 English professional clubs, a new study has found.
Supporters of the Sky Bet Championship club came out on top in the study, averaging 7.7 tweets per fan over the last six months.
Fellow Championship side Middlesbrough were second in the study at 6.6 tweets per fan, while Everton were the leading Barclays Premier League club with 6.3 tweets, ahead of Arsenal on 4.7.
The study, conducted by social scores network CrowdScores, looked at fans' interaction with their club's official Twitter accounts. They compared how many followers each club's official Twitter account had against the number of mentions of that Twitter handle. It also analysed the sentiment of each tweet, marking each as positive or negative.
Adam Pearson has been talking to the YEP about his time at ER, and working alongside Cellino :-
“He’s got his finger on every pulse,” Pearson said. “It’s completely wrong to think that he’s taken a back seat or stepped back.
He’s involved in everything and dictating everything. And quite right if it’s your money funding the club.
If I’ve made a difference then I’m pleased about that but it’s more the case that Massimo’s put in place key people who know how to keep the club running – the coaching staff and Stuart Hayton, the club secretary.
It’s taken the weight off his shoulders in terms of transfers and they’ve been done in a far more calm and efficient manner.
“Last summer he was doing so much of the work himself. To be honest, I think a lot of lessons have been learned from last season.
Football’s such big business in England and you have to have people with the right skill sets in the right areas. If things look better from the outside then they probably should.”
Pearson has confirmed that Leeds will not make any money on the Delph sale:-
Pearson said: "There's nothing came through on Fabian.
"That buy-out cut us out of that", he added.
