Is just me being dyslexic or does he lose it a little at the end?

Which particular end.? Just when you think he's finished he carries on in another post.

I've read stuff of his before and it is always well defined and detailed. He's never over-wordy [OK, perhaps the history lesson was over played, but enjoyable]. Quite obviously, he's a Saints fan [yuh think so.?], but one who either has very well founded views and can get them into text easily [he certainly has a skill there], or he can think on his feet admirably and do the same. Maybe it's a bit of both.

Yep. The guy doesn't waffle. He makes good points and explains the reasoning behind them. If he waffled his posts wouldn't be good reads. We don't all have to write on forums as if we all have old style telephone keyboards or produce cartoon images with footers. We can do anything we want provided it's within the rules. And that includes long posts.

Consortium! Now that's how to express an opinion. A bit verbose but very well written on the whole - can we get him posting on here?

Agreed, he makes good points. But he'd be an editors nightmare!

Many people believe he writes well. I'm inclined to agree with them.

No doubt he's a smart enough chap, but I'd still suggest he likes the sound of his own pen rather a lot!

You raise a good point though, and it does link in with how people are very much gradating toward only being able to consume information in bite-sized chunks.

Indeed, and even I try a few people's attention spans here. When really, I don't write that much at all. :)

The same is very true of music now too, sadly.

I'm interested in history, so was happy to read it and found it interesting. So if I understood it correctly, Saints should avoid buying elephants......

Very true. You'd imagine that, in this internet world, budding artists would be able to get their music heard and sought after very easily indeed. Yet extremely little flourishes anew, and only the 3 minute pop sound/ballad is heard.
