Catts and Seb have always known if fit they'll play.
For the first time in years we've got quality competition for places.
Our central midfielders could now be Catts, Seb, Rodwell, Fer, M'Vila, Gomez, Bridcutt? And Giaccerini.
I've never know the quality to be so good in that area!

Midfield 3 of Catts, M'Vila & Fer with Larsson, Rodwell, Gomez as back up.

Strength in depth - something we haven't had in a long time.

 

To be fair to Bridcutt he was a squad player and did alright as back up. Saying that I will be much happier with our back up being Rodwell, Gomez and Larsson. Those three would be a decent midfield on their own, with Catts, Mvilla and Fer we should be bossing that part of the pitch.

Were 1 or 2 signings away from the best squad we have had for a long long time. 1 more forward is needed and 1 more defender.

The above looks very strong to me, add another quality forward and another quality defender and we should do well this season.

 

Strengthening coach on sky just talking about fer, when, he passes his medical how he will be assessing him, that's promising, no coy answers, looks like it's happening
