I found Germany a great place, admittedly in the early 80's they seemed to be still in the 60's. Lots of Hippies at the university, bloody students never change do they! They used to have a fantastic open air disco/club event in one of the large squares in Stuttgart which we went to a couple of times and the beer was great, not the crappy Carlsberg/Heineken/Skol lager we get over here
I am sure she will be ok. The group of Turks involved will now be in their mid sixties and have probably calmed down and stopped murdering people. They have probably gone into people trafficking now as its a lot less stressful. by the way have you ever watched Taken with Liam Neeson!
Of course I was just reminding you. Look on the bright side at least she is not going with the "handyman" boyfriend, or is she?

For rhc... I've been to stuttgart lots of times and it's a grand place. That festival is summerfest.. like oktoberfest it's not on yet I think?? Anyway...... she will be fine.
I would love to but am currently banned from Germany over an incident involving a bottle of Paddy whiskey , a green wig and goose stepping.
