    As usual you're talking crap.

The question was answered by G4E. It's only a riddle to you because you're too dense to understand it <ok>

How many titles did he win in the first 5 years ? We only scored that many as that's all we needed to in winning those titles

One title. United won the rest because they scored more goals.

Good to see Arsene back to parking the bus again and admitting that his team were too scared to cross the halfway line in big games:

"I believe today, yes, we defended, because maybe it was a psychological hurdle Chelsea had in the head of my players; we were concerned at 1-0 up to protect our lead rather than to play."

Boring boring Arsenal: ten men behind the ball! ;)

To be fair Arsenal played Chelsea off the park until they scored and then they parked the bus. Chelsea weren't able to defend an attacking Arsenal or break down a defensive Arsenal. That's why Jose sulked. All that said I know you're not bovvered.

  5. TalkSport were on about Wenger being classless, too, in the after-match mellee, not shaking hands, and all that.

I've not been following any of it, so, I confess, I cannot comment on any of it.

Talksport are very anti Arsenal so even if we had won 4-0 they would have said it doesn't matter, or if we had lost they would have said it does matter.
It takes two to make a handshake and Jose walked away after shaking every Arsenal player's hand !
In all the years of the Fergie versus Wenger they always shook hands and shared a bottle of red wine, yet Jose and Wenger seem to actually hate each other. Probably because Jose is an insidious little prick who thinks he is clever but just acts the **** - reminds me of Hiag !

    Exactly. <ok>

Even at the peak of their rivalry and when the two teams were kicking lumps out of each other on the pitch, Wenger and Fergie would still shake hands because they had respect for each other.

You have to earn respect and that's why Maureen gets none. Because he is a classless, frightened and bitter little man. He spouts off crap thinking he's playing 'mind games' but each time he opens his trap, people just cringe at him.

Someone is very angry about Jose today. Why can't you just enjoy winning a friendly against the champions?

Whatever you think of him as a person, his record speaks for itself. He's a very good tactician and will have spotted things in that game that he will seek to rectify when you meet again. Expect a tougher game!

After we kicked their arses at WHL, he closed up all the loopholes for the CC final

But that's not the case. After the final whistle, Wenger scuttled off within seconds. Didn't see the shaking hands with the players bit, but Wenger definitely ran away straight after the game. You can't deny he is rattled by Mourinho, I would just ignore the game playing little prick personally, but Wenger's reactions will just encourage him to keep it up.

I don't see how Wenger is rattled by the sulking prick. He changed his game plan and it worked, how does winning mean he's rattled?

He won and he took the opportunity to walk off which didn't give Mourinho the chance to be a graceful loser. As it turned out Mourinho's post match press conference confirmed he's incapable of that anyway!

It didn't deny Mourinho anything. It's standard practice.
Had Wenger shaken hands and walked off, then it would've been a total non-event.
Mourinho would still have done his usual post-loss press baiting, regardless.

The idea that this is down to one or the other is simply ridiculous, though.
They've both butted heads with numerous managers down the years and it's not the first handshake that Wenger's avoided.
Both act like petulant children at times and often look pretty pathetic doing it.

Yep I don't doubt that. The league games will be tough. I think Maureen was just pissed off that we play sexy football and outbussed him too.

After the whistle both managers went their own ways and avoided each other and given their obvious dislike for each other that was a good idea. I think Jose gets under AW skin with his lack of respect and personal remarks and I agree with you that he gets to AW, and the best thing for AW to do is ignore it all but it's bloody hard when Jose says something in press conference and then said press ask AW in his press conference.
As to the shaking of our players hands it was done in front of the cameras so that when AW came down last then Jose could blank him again in full view of cameras so pundits and press talk about that rather than the game, ando and behold that's what's happened and we are also talking about it. If Jose wanted to congratulate the Arsenal team he could have done it down the tunnel away from the cameras but it wouldn't have had the desired effect

  16. From what I gather, Wenger won the game, but Mourhino is still winning the war.

The war of making himself look like a mug maybe. Seeing as you seem to be trying to achieve the same thing, I suppose it would look like he's winning.

  18. I'm loving how wound up you Gooners are by all of this!
    <laugh>

    You won the game, ffs!

And, I must say (and being completely frank and honest, here, for a moment), it was a superb goal from the OXO. After that, Chelsea only had a look in because you parked the bus and let them come on to you.

Wenger's tactics were spot on, even if it didn't make for a very enjoyable game.

Of course we're going to give you some banter, but, please, for the love of god, try to lighten up a little!

I love the way the afflicted make the 'wound up' claim, when the opposite is happening <laugh>

and we're enjoying the victory of course, even if it was only the community shield. Maureen's hissy fit after the game and his 'let's shake hands' stunt just add to the piss taking <ok>

If you hadn't started supporting Chelsea HIAG, you'd be lapping it up too mate.

  20. Is this going to be your new taunt?

If so, let's cut through the next 6 months, and end this now, for the sake of the forum, eh?
