So we're trying to negotiate to get him before the 21 days?
 
Might be just me but if were the only one to activate his clause, then hes told brentford he doesnt want to play and that its a big opportunity for him that tells me he wants to sign for us, by all means could be others interested in him but yet to hear of a bid from them

It certainly reads as if he wants to come here, but I suspect if someone else does come in and offers bigger wages he'll want to there instead.
For what it's worth I think he will come here, but we'll see

Not seen or heard from him for a day or two. Since Rovers got to Wembley he has made himself scarce. On a separate note I thought the HKR support at Leeds was superb. Vocal and passionate, something the City match day experience could do with.
 
Doesn't Odubajo's family live in a little village just north of Lincoln? Devout Christians aren't they? Swear I remember reading it somewhere once. Could be a big help in getting him here.

There's quite a few (and growing) 'New Life Church' types in and around Lincoln Hattie! Each to their own I suppose but they are very 'sect' like. Indeed, when I lived in Dunholme, just North of Lincoln, literally one by one, my neighbours were joining on a daily basis. When one asked me (as an unsubtle recruitment attempt) as to what I thought about their church, I asked if heavy drinking and free love were part of the gig...needless to say they don't have much of a sense of humour! If he's part of that lot he won't be much fun in the changing room!
