I don't have a funny story but I have a funny comment.

My plan is to make football affordable to everyone.
Asap I want to charge £10 to watch a match.

Comedy gold from our one and only toadface.
£27 to see the Huddersfield match FFS
When did you last pay 10 quid for a ticket?

Go and read what he said and get back to me.

"I want to have the capacity increased to 40,000. Increased capacity will help - gradually - to reduce the value of tickets. I hope I will live to see football watched by every housewife and child - make the tickets £10, £5. Watching football should be like breathing air - free of charge."

No your okay, I know what he said. If you want to troll through stuff to find it then that's upto you.
So you dont know what he said or choose to ignore/interpret it as you want. He didnt say it as a definite it was an aspiration. Something Adam Pearson used to say also while raising ticket prices.

he aspired to change City's name...he failed
"I am leaving in 24 hours if we don't change the name"....he failed
So raising prices 40% gets him closer to the £10 ticket does it.
You do talk b ollocks

Before you say he didn't get the capacity to 40k...that was down to him not making an offer to buy the stadium.
He wanted it for nowt and spat his dummy out when we could not get his own way.

Looks like your thread's been hi-jacked...

So it was an aspiration, not a stated aim.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Maybe some of the harder of thinking ****wits who misquote it will stop now.

Now have a go at the one where he tells fans to die.

How am I am diverting it?
After following the team for 40+ years I think my place at Wembley was justified. If Allam set the prices for Wembley it probably would have been doubled what we paid.
You appear to cream your pants everytime something is said about our leader...quite sad really having an idol who in most parts of Hull is despised
