I called it atrocious before Ali and Broad had their partnership. And normally scoring less than 300 would not get you a lead of 145 so it wasn't great batting from England whichever way you look at it.
The bowlers got England the lead, not the batsmen.Except in the context of having a lead of 145!
The way Johnson was bowling this morning just staying alive was remarkable. There has been some awful batting from both sides though, I'll give you that. As long as our bowlers stay on line we should still win this.
I posted about the 3rd wicket, then had to wait to post about the 4th because there is a 30 sec gap between posts. Finn is faster than not606.
