Yeah, some of it, but we only get that in monthly increments, we don't get it in a lump sum. Forget the parachhute payments, they have nothing to do with front of house stuff like playing staff, it mostly goes into stablising the accounts. We've reduced the wage bill a bit, but we still have big earners like Thudd, Livermore, Dawson, Davies, Jelavic, Hernandez and N'Doye on the books. We need to balance this out by selling. I don't know what you're expecting in terms of player quality; Ryan Taylor is, at least in terms of ability, better than Rosenior and we haven't seen anything of Clucas yet. Last time we went down it took 3 years and a hell of a lot of rebuilding to get back, you might have to be a little patient. We we released Rosenior because he wanted a three year deal and we didn't want to give him one. Brighton did, that's why he went there.
This seems to have been ignored but I've often thought this! Wouldn't mind having Barton sitting deeper with huddlestone venturing forward. Only thing is I believe Barton may want too much money to consider us
Yeah, and I'm saying it was a mistake. Bar Snodgrass and Fer, Norwich kept most of their Premier League squad, made some additions and went straight back up. I'm not annoyed that we've lost Brady and Chester but with the money we're getting for them I hope we invest it in quality players and not getting crap players like Palacios.
Even he says the contract was offered...he does says it was taken away, but this could be because he was stalling, asking for more etc.... could be a number of things! at the end of the day we offered 1, he didn't sign it when he had the opportunity to.
I asked you the other day and you said Allam should get his money back and **** off. Cant have it both ways
I didn't say he should; I said it's his money. He's got us in more debt since he bought the club because he doesn't invest in it. I do hope he sells the club.
The club from top to bottom is in a much better state now then when he took over! he might be nutty as a squirrels **** but you cant deny hes been good for the overall make up of the club when it comes to facilities etc...
Maybe it's something to do with the relative wages? I'm not saying I agree with the logic but that could be the reason.
I'd like to see aluko given a go up front! It stops all this " he's greedy " talk! Let him be greedy where it matters!
Sure, but I just think Rosenior would have been the more reliable option. I still think we need a defensive midfielder, two wingers, two strikers and a new goalkeeper.
