They finally finished our road a couple of months back, over two years after we moved in.
They are doing it phase by phase and ours is done now so hopefully it'll be soon. The broadband is annoying but it's Sky who are being hard work. They are ringing me later so hopefully I'll have an appointment soon.

They are getting wise to that now and giving you packages that tie u in so you have to move or pay off the contract. Got round it though because my property didn't exist so they couldn't provide me with the service.
My new deal gives me 12 months free line rental and 12 half price fibre.

I ****ed Sky off and then went to BT for a while, 2 weeks before we were due to move house I rang them and asked what deal they'd give me if I came back. After a bit of bartering they agreed to a 75% reduction on the full package for 12 months! So I said fine I'll take it. I then told them I was moving house, and they did a free dish install at my new property. Couldn't fault it tbf.
