I get the impression there are lots of people on here that feel we need to stay in the championship for at least a year to build a strong team before heading back to the Premier league. I reckon that will go out of the window and there will be very little patience when the season starts especially if we lose to Charlton
The reality is we're going to be in this dreadful division for the foreseeable future. Next season is going to be the worst we've had for many years but it would appear its a necessity. If we have to build we have to build but it doesn't mean we have to be happy about it. We spent 15 years in the Football League after dropping out and after all that hardship, when we finally made it back, people thought it was the beginning of a new dawn.
Enter Tony Fernandes. He takes over a Premier League Club. A quarter of a billion pounds later and we're in the Championship.
It looks like we're destined to suffer as QPR fans. I've never been so depressed since I started supporting them. After all those years of scrapping to get back, we're back where we started: In football oblivion. We do not exist any more (outside England at least) and its soul destroying.
Thank you Tony. Thank you very much Sir.
(PS Friendly results don't mean diddly)
