It would indeed, but it looks like it's all gone pear shaped, they've met his £3m buy-out clause, but it seems the clause only applies to Premier League clubs.
3m doesn't seem too much. I'm surprised someone like Leicester (with their need of some quality in CM) haven't taken a punt on him at that price.

It's the American way though with frankly nonsense team names. But let's not start a team name debate again, some **** hot local Marketeer may be reading and decide it's a great idea. Shortening a name, with a longer name.
They used to call them "Montreal Manic" in the early 80's, and "Montreal Olympique" when Graeme Souness played for them sometime in the '70s.
