we're interested in Togo international winger Floyd Ayite from Ligue 1 side SC Bastia according to Football League World.

The 26-year old is known for his demon pace and ability to come inside and score goals, having scored nine goals and creating three assists in 33 appearances for Bastia last season.
1 in 3 matches he"s useful ha ha lets ghope we get some luck

What are you talking about?
wake up josh and do you maths !!! The 26-year old is known for his demon pace and ability to come inside and score goals, having scored nine goals and creating three assists in 33 appearances for Bastia last season.

9 goals in 33 appearances = 3.66 goals per game hence my post saying 1 goal every 3 games !! thought you
were abit more upstairs but not too sure now !! also 1 goal in 3 matches gives for 1 season of 46 matches =
15 goals but to get into automatic promotion places of 1st and 2nd leeds need 90+ goals so if he gets 15 goals other leeds need to score at least 75 goals and to be honest i cannot see that i hope they do that but last season leeds only scored 50 goals combined all players , thats why leeds need to get and PAY a good striker who has got a record of scoring 30 goals in a season anyway i hope leeds can do it

Sniffer, if you're going to abuse someone for being thick, at least get your facts right in your post - "9 goals in 33 appearances = 3.66 goals per game". :emoticon-0140-rofl:

(In case you're baffled, I think the phrase you were aiming for was "1 goal every 3.66 games".

What do you mean, wake up and do the maths??? I commented about a player who we've been linked with to let everyone else know about it and maybe have a reasonable discussion about whether he would fit. It was ****ing copied and pasted, doesn't mean I WANT us to sign him or anything else... <doh>

And even then, A WINGER, not a striker and is scoring a goal every 3 and a half games? Thats about as good as Gradel ever was and this lad is doing it in Ligue 1 which is seen as a higher level than the championship.

And then, your saying we need to pay a striker with a record of getting 30 goals a season? Firstly how many strikers have a record of consistently getting 30 goals a season? Then secondly how much would that realistically cost to get? 15mil perhaps. Its stupid money. And then if they had that sort of record surely they would want to play in the prem if they were to move clubs? And then most of all, how many promoted clubs actually have 30 goal a season strikers in their ranks? I think you'll find some do but the majority of teams don't, they share goals around without relying on just one player. Your living in a dream world.

And finally, my question of "what are you talking about?" was actually in reference to your post making no sense whatsoever.

i think most people with a resonable sense of intelligence could see what i was saying even if i wrote it the other way round 1 goal every 3.66 games they could do this with the original story of 9 goals in 33 appearances but obviously he does not read to well , i think you understood it also , i think you get the drift whitejockkkkkkkk ,and the first part of your post was spot on even a 10 year old could work that out !! when leeds are struggling to score against harrogate town you can see where i am coming from

So you still didn't reply to any of the points I made in my post though...

According to a couple sources we are favourites to sign Mike Williamson from Newcastle.

He is 31 years old and a central defender, he has made over 150 appearances for Newcastle (and 33 last season).

More chance of Eire signing.
Too old... Too expensive... Too many at the club already!

Don't know how likely it would be but he's been transfer listed by Newcastle.

I disagree with your other points, not too old, we lack experience in this team, wouldn't imagine it'd cost much and I actually really believe we need another centre back (preferred option would've been Liam Moore from Leicester).

For all the premier league I watch though I don't really know much about his abilities so whether he is good enough is another thing, you'd expect he'd be better than Cooper and Bellusci.

He'd be another Andy O'Brien for us, good, solid, experienced at the top level, have a few good games initially then deteriorate rapidly

We don't really need that again

Mad man wont sanction us signing another over 30 especially as we have Sol as our first name on the team sheet cb.

Maybe, as I said don't really know that much about him

Yea thats a fair point. I still actually think we need our spine sorted, centre of defence still looks iffy. Its exactly the same defence we had that finished the season and it wasn't good enough.

If you had read my earlier posts i did say back then we need 2 hard tackling defenders and a central defender as current one is not good enough , we are obviously leaking goals as you saw in the pre season friendlies , a draw with harrogate town , and another draw after that and a loss against hoffenheim although they were fortuotous , are not good enough and shows our defence as bad as it is and this is after 6 seasons it is still not fixed , they cannot blame it on bad luck all the time ?
