Thin Portuguese Waiter? Did anyone else just see Jose refer to Everton as a 'small club' and Liverpool a 'big club' when talking about Stones and Sterling? I think Tobes should be told.... :emoticon-0104-surpr

Strange one that. Maybe he was only being offered a 1 year contract and at his age wanted security of 2 year deal.

Cambiasso's been around a while. He will know that Ranieri is a likeable but clueless manager. With the Tinkerman in charge Leicester are almost certainties for relegation.

Begovic conceded 4 goal on his Chelsea debut to lose to Red Bulls 4-2.

    That went well.

Chelsea v New York: Asmir Begovic concedes four on debut

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho defended "tired" keeper Asmir Begovic after he conceded four goals on debut in a 4-2 friendly defeat by New York Red Bulls.

The Bosnian, 28, came on as a half-time substitute in New York against a side made up of developmental players.

    ?

BBC disagrees: Chelsea v New York: Asmir Begovic concedes four on debut

    http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33632645

Or are you saying it's not a full debut because he came on as a substitute for the second half or becuase it wasn't a competitive game?

No, I ****ed up mate :emoticon-0111-blush

I stayed up and watched the game, very good tempo for pre-season (the best I have seen so far this year). I was sure it was 1-1 at half time, probably because Courtois made quit a few mistakes.

Interested to know if any were his fault. Sadly the goalie draws the short straw sometimes esp on his debut.

I think the first goal was a mix up with him and Terry - resulting in a dodgy back pass that was knocked in.
