In:
Benteke - £32m
Firmino - £29m
Gomez - £3.5m
Ings - Let's say £7m when tribunal sets fee in december
Clyne - £12.5m
TOTAL = 84
Out:
Coates - £2m
Sterling - £39m (less QPR share)
Aspas - £4m
TOTAL = 45
So not looking at in just raw cash (as benteke is in installments, and sterling has addons) our net outlay is around £40m. I have to say the Benteke signing really has eaten a huge chunk of the kitty.
If we sold Lambert for £4m, Borini for £4m and Mario for £8m then that would take it to a net £24m.
So I guess I agree when yuo look at it, I can't see any more signings now until we shovel out some ****.
I'm of the view we got two installments for suarez. 75mil/2 = 37.5mil.. we also didn't spend in january.
I think we've been able to afford these fees.
I think we will sell to buy now though.
lambert is 3 mil. borini could be anything. balotelli is a joke we won't shift.
I think we have the cash for ONE more. illaramende seems more real that this

Liverpool could beat Manchester United to the signing of Pedro, according to reports.
Spanish publication Mundo Deportivo claim Liverpool have made contact with Barcelona over the possibility of a £22million move.
A bid of that amount would trigger the Spaniard's release clause and a deal could be done in the coming days.
United was believed to be the 27-year-old's most likely destination.
Pedro is reported to have told friends he is off to Old Trafford but new reports suggest he could now arrive on Merseyside.
Having made more than 200 La Liga appearances for the Catalan giants, the World Cup winner is one of the summer's hottest properties.
It is believed he will be allowed to leave the Nou Camp after falling down the Barca pecking order.
Now firmly behind the preferred front three of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar, Pedro was resigned largely to cameo roles from the bench last season.
And Brendan Rodgers could offer him regular first-team football as he looks to re-shape his attack at Anfield.
The club have already secured the services of Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings, and are close to completing a £32.5m deal for Aston Villa's Christian Benteke.
