Enough to come on here and tell us our fortune when we gave Bruce the manager's job aye

That's different though, we didn't go over there to give them what for like Hull did with us. We didn't go over to the Hull board until they bombarded our board with abuse for talking about our experiences.

That's why those Hull fans stand out for being ****ers.

Bunch of ****s they are. **** em

The plan.

Walk out on Hull just before the season starts (because he doesn't have the bollocks for the championship promotion fight). Have a couple of months off and then wait for the premier league sackings to begin. Negotiate a big payday if he saves a club from relegation - and if he doesn't then just blame it on the fans or the owner or "it was because I'm a Jordee".

I'm glad we got rid when we did.

The sad thing is though mate, there were a lot of supporters and many on here who couldn't see it when we did..

Alan Pardew is the exact same, decent starts then ****s everything up. I have no doubt whatsoever that if Mac makes a success at Newcastle Alan Pardew will claim it's only because he's had money to spend and Pardew never.

Excuse men, the ****ing slopbucket of managers.

Pardew has followed the exact same pattern at every club he's been at. Great first full season, then a steady decline with modest peaks and devastating troughs. During our 5th season, a lot of West Ham fans were warning us about it but we laughed at them. Now it's us warning Palace fans and getting the same response. Nature of football.

I'm not defending Hull / us / Wigan
The point I'm trying to make is that fans are taken in by Bruce for a while, but then realisation dawns when it is too late

This is just my opinion, but Bruce built the best team since the Peter Reid 7th places - the team with Cana and Catts, and Bent and Jones.
But I still hate him. I hate his pathetic excuses and refusal to take any responsibility for anything that went wrong with the team that he was paid to manage

I partially agree with you mate but the only thing Bruce has ever built was his bank balance, on the back of the crazy, he is great, crap the media spout in this country, no ****ing wonder the national team are so bad if the likes of him are regarded great. Generations of his family will be ok purely because the mans fat face fitted in with the rest of the useless ****ers that try to tell us about football..

Oh aye, he built a cracking team. Unfortunately he completely dismantled and devolved it until it had no identity what so ever. :(

Having relegated Hull he's now manoeuvring his way out of the club and trying to smokescreen.

Down in the dumps: Steve Bruce has threatened to walk away from Hull
Steve Bruce has threatened to quit as Hull boss if he is not given the funds to take the Tigers back to the Premier League.

Bruce has seen eight stars march through the KC exit door since City were relegated from the top flight two months ago - but no replacements have been brought in.

He is frustrated by the lack of incoming transfer action, and now his future on Humberside will be decided in crunch talks with chairman Assem Allam and his Board on Thursday.

Bruce, 54, heads into the showdown meeting seeking assurances that the Hullhierarchy’s ambition matches his own.

If he doesn’t get the promise of the financial backing he feels he needs to put together a promotion challenging squad, the former Manchester United skipper is likely to walk out after three years at the helm.

He revealed: “I am the manager who got us relegated, and I’m still saddened and disappointed about that.

“I would love the chance to bring the club back to the top flight, and all I ask is that we have a squad that’s capable of mounting a challenge.

“The nucleus of a very good team is here, and I am hoping that on Thursday we can all sit down and navigate a plan to get us back to where we all want to be.

“If that is the case then I’ll be perfectly happy. If not, then I would ask the question of exactly what they want to do.

“If I don’t think we have a chance of getting back up, then I would consider my position.

Safe hands: Southend's Daniel Bentley is on Bruce's radar

“But I still believe when we have that meeting I’ll be given the chance to rebuild this side. I’m confident this meeting will be beneficial to everyone.

“We can then look forward to not only mounting a challenge in the Championship, but also to better times ahead.”

Former Birmingham and Sunderland chief Bruce is looking to bring in five or six new signings to supplement what has become a skeleton squad with just 18 days to go before City’s opening day of the season clash at home to Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield.

And he is keen to kick-off his recruitment campaign by snapping-up highly-rated Southend keeper Dan Bentley,22, for £1million.

Maybe they're not giving you any more money/another chance because you ****ed up, as you have done at every club you have managed. Stupid, fat Jawdee ****er.
