......... cheek mind!

He trots out the same dreary clichés at every club, scrounges money to spend on overpriced high wage players and, when it all goes wrong, he always trots out the same threadbare excuses. Having relegated Hull he's now manoeuvring his way out of the club and trying to smokescreen.
I wonder who's fault it will be this time.

"If I don't think we have a chance of getting back up I would consider my position."

This is a man who bleats on about loyalty while showing none to any club.

Smug...Whenever Bruce is discussed by the so called expert football pundits he is viewed as a great bloke with loads of player and managerial experience as if that is the be all and end all. None of the pundits ever criticise him no matter how many mistakes he makes, which I'm sure it's because of his time at Manure. Nobody ever gives him a hard time hes like Teflon man. He has taken every club he's managed backwards and spending shed loads of money in the process, I just don't get it.

He is mates with the media. He was right up the back sides of Richard Keys and Andy Gray when they were on Sky and Talk Sport. In return they simply would not have a word said against him

Look at the way Shearer jumped to Bruce's defence on the last Match of the Day last season. Danny Murphy was telling it like it is, (ie Bruce is responsible for Hull's relegation) and Shearer jumped in and gave Bruce credit for being a man of principles.

Very low principles imo ......... when his teams win he talks about himself, lose and it's always 'we'.

The plan.

Walk out on Hull just before the season starts (because he doesn't have the bollocks for the championship promotion fight). Have a couple of months off and then wait for the premier league sackings to begin. Negotiate a big payday if he saves a club from relegation - and if he doesn't then just blame it on the fans or the owner or "it was because I'm a Jordee".

I'm glad we got rid when we did.

High principles according to Shearer
His high principles would lead to him resigning if he felt that he was not a capable manager

Obviously the same high principles that took him off to Barbados is the middle of the relegation struggle last season - notably with Shearer

The Hull posters thought any detrimental comments, on here about Bruce, were from bitter supporters who'd been insulted by a Geordie.

I wonder if they're still defending him as ..... 'the best manager Hull have ever had'.

He's repeated his Sunderland 'escapades' at Hull in almost every way ......... except we sacked him before he took us down.

In fairness to the Hull supporters though, some of us defended him when Wigan supporters were on here having a pop at him

He is a deceptive bloke. Better at PR than he is at football management

Couldn't agree more mate, we did the same with Villa fans when they warned us about MON.

It's just funnier when it happens to someone else <laugh>

Its more of a 'wuh' than a 'we'. He also does that weird thing professional 'geordies' do of emphasising the letter 'o'.

'Wuh got our backsides kicked thats for sure. Wuh gotta hOpe wuh put in better performances you knOw.'
But look at Brendon Rodgers, how much as he spent at Liverpool?, and have they won anything with him in charge.
BR is under tonnes of pressure, rest assured.

Not one post from a Sunderland fan over on the Wigan board taking any exception to anti-Bruce comments. You sure you're not mistaking it for the spurs fans and Bent fiasco? I seem to remember a bit of bad blood that surfaced.

He's a pathetic fat piece of ****. Hull's upturn in fortune last season coincided with the arrival of Phelan and he stood there like a ****ing gargantuan mountain of puked-up lard and took all the credit for it during post-match interviews. He's nothing but a mouth on a sausage that likes the sound of his own voice.

Typical Bri, always beating about the bush <laugh>
