Unlikely to get in over Schlupp or Fuchs on the wing back slot, so doubtful imo.

Think if I was a villa fan I would have real worries at the moment. Benteke, Cleverley and Delph all gone from last season. Vlar out for 4 months, and waiting for Grealish to be lying in his next gutter. The buy out has gone pear shaped? Good to be a Foxes fan, when our main cause for concern is will a 34 year old out of contract player sign for 1 more year.

 

I think Villa will go down this season - Sherwood is crap and will be sacked by January.

Surely Villa will have money to spend though? Clubs like ours could be raided.

 

Think if we had beaten them in the cup they could well have gone down last season. We played really badly and Pearson only made one substitution. I really hope we start taking the cups seriously again this season.

 

Everyone is under long term contracts so they would cost a fair whack. Cant see Villa attracting our top players either

 

I agree - suspect wr will spend more than them this transfer window even if they get the Benteke money - Lerner wants out ..

 

If Villa don't spend they'll effectively be condemning themselves to relegation. I think they have to.

Ranieri might see some of our players as not fitting in with his style, therefore may sell if a club like Villa offers the right money.

 

Villa apparently considering Adebayor to replace Benteke . . just the other 2 relegation spots to worry about now
