    The papers were reporting that Clyne's contract is 90k a week. That sounds about right in that 1) It's what I think Liverpool would pay and 2) We would never pay it.

    If so, they should come out and say so. Their fans must be absolutely livid over this. Twice they've been fooled into thinking he was staying. Just think how bad this board would have been had Morgan or Toby acted in the same way.

    Will be interesting to see how much of the £40m from Delph & Benteke that Villa re-invest.
    If Lerner has not found a buyer then I think he will be taking a slice of the pie

    If reports are true that Villa are interested in Adebayor, we have to admit that Spurs are amazing at shipping out detritus. First Paulinho, then Kaboul, and now Adebayor and Soldado.

    I think what he is trying to say was that it was a tough decision...upsetting for the Villa fans (especially as they know doubt felt smug for a few days) but at least he didn't just leave skid marks. I suppose he is their Lallana...but as we have found, you just have to move on.
