Don't think we can read too much into this just yet, but I'm really not surprised that Lovren and Skrtel are playing together, and Sakho is in the first team.

The No.14 lines up alongside Lucas Leiva and James Milner in midfield, while Divock Origi and Adam Lallana - goalscorers in Bangkok - lead the attack with Danny Ings.
Brendan Rodgers' side are looking to build on their 4-0 win over the True Thai Premier League All Stars earlier this week in the second friendly of their summer tour.

They've already given us a better game than what the All stars gave us in the full 90.

Bit sloppy so far, but I suppose that's what Pre season is for.

Gomez looks good, Sakho has given the ball away twice already, and Origi is struggling to get to grips with the game so far.

Fairly even game at the moment.
 
First impressions:
Gomez at left back doesn't look out of place, Clyne OK, but looks one footed.... very one footed
Origi first touch ok but a bit lost
Ings non existant
and Skertl missing his man again. 0-1 ffs.
Why have we given him a new contract.
As some of us suspect our midfield is going to lack creativity this season, without Coutino/Firmino.

I'd sooner give Ilori a chance at centre back and let him develop for the season than continue to play Skrtel.
