Like we would sell De Gea without having a replacement. This just reduces the chancr of Madrid getting De Gea.

I doubt it.
He will most likely only miss the first couple games anyway.
I think Lloris is probably the best De Gea replacement in the PL at least, with Cech having moved to Arsenal and Begovic choosing to clean Courtois' boots.

I dont think hes going anywhere this summer. Madrid dont want to pay the asking price and De Gea is making no fuss so as of now, its a stalemate.

I have no idea.
De Gea isn't making a fuss publicly at least, like some ungrateful little scrotes are.
Does he only have 1 year left on his contract then?
Because £13m for a top 3 in the world keeper who is 24 yrs old is stupid.
Cech only had 1 year left and went for £10m and he is 10 years older than De Gea.

Yeh just a year left. Their offer was a joke.

Madrid are looking very silly so far this summer. The fans want Perez gone over Casillas leaving and they appointed Rafa as manager.

Its great.
 
In the end real will get him now or in January but Utd can say hey. ... he's going to perform. But to lose him for nothing when a good wad is on offer seems silly too
 
I think United are in the fortunate position that they can forego a £13million fee in favour of getting another year out of De Gea. If they've identified a replacement for next summer then they could feasibly save a similar amount by signing a keeper who will at that time have one year less on their contract with their current club.

They may well get him eventually but another season, in our ever improving side might just sway him.

Its reportedly his girlfriend who really wants the move, De Geas happy at United. Hence his silence.
 
I'd rather keep him for another season than sell him for 13 mil. Gives us time to look for a proper replacement, the club really don't need the money.

Because its literally all the story is based on. I added the bit about her being a rubbish singer however, Eurovision confirmed it to be true <laugh>
