Good morning all from a wet and pleasantly cool Weston-super-Mare!

Have a good day! <ok>
Good morning!
I have to ask Dave, what is this getting up at 04:30ish every morning all about? I mean, does that time actually exist? And on a Sunday too? Just asking.
Mrs H-F is treating me to brekkie at the local greasy spoon this morning! :emoticon-0171-star::emoticon-0152-heart

When I was working I was an all night taxi driver, 5 pm to 6 am, that lasted about ten years but the body clock never properly adjusts to those hours, when I retired i spent an awful long time catching up on sleep and finally drifted into the 9 pm to 4 am routine, I now wake at 4 every morning and am in bed by 9 pm without fail, even if my beloved Canaries are playing a night match!

Morning all, bright and sunny, but a bit of a breeze about I am pleased to say. :emoticon-0100-smile

Taking it easy today after a week of hard work. Just going to do the essentials such as watering, so I might get to see some of the Tour live rather than highlights. With harvest in full swing here there are combines and tractors on the go until after midnight. The worst thing is getting behind some of these huge machines as they trundle down the roads going from one contract to another, as you cannot pass them and have to go at their pace. There is a museum of old agricultural machinery not far from here and you can see why harvesting required whole families to be involved. One of the reasons of course why school holidays start so early.

Morning all from an overcast and blowy NW London. Unlikely to be on here much for the next few days as it's all kicking off at work - not in a bad way - so my life will belong to my employer for a while. If there's any probs and H is not around drop mme a PM as I shall check them from time to time. Enjoy your Sundays!

Morning all, cloudy and cooler here at present. 25°C. Cloud expected to move away later and a high of 30°C which is not too bad.
National holiday today and many towns have celebrations concluding with fireworks. The nearest largish town to us has decided to continue the display despite being short of money. Rather than increase the budget which is normal, they are only spending the same as last year, €19,600. Our commune puts on a great evening in August with live acts and fireworks, drawing in 7-8,000 people from quite long distances. The firework display lasts about 20 minutes and has lasers and music, yet costs €5,000. Seems that our fete committee is rather better at managing a budget than the townies.:emoticon-0100-smile
