Superb news. Far better than Twydale Turkeys. Allams are gonna take us all to the zoo. The rollercoaster keeps on moving.
I don't think a gambling company is unethical, people gamble on football like they do other sports, the companies don't force people to gamble. We don't pay wages or transfer fees in morals, this isn't Sesame Street, where sunshine and a smile will see you to promotion, we need cold hard cash and I highly doubt we've got much of this from Flamingo land.
Next season's walk-out music has been changed from 'Eye of the Tiger' to "We're all going to the zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow, zoo tomorrow We're all going to the zoo tomorrow, you can come too. We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo you can come too, too, too
well after me and t'missus have finished phishing ourselves laughing i reckon it's better than having gambling and loan sharks on the shirts!
Sadly it's a growing trend on here. It used to be fun when away fans posted similar stuff as 'banter', at least there was a bit of too and fro with it.
Why is it Naff? It's a strong Yorkshire brand that epitomises family fun and togetherness, what the hell is naff about that? What does the opinion of Paddy Power count for? Our season card holders get a 2-4-1 and that is bad is it? I really to do lose heart when you do your utmost to prove DMD correct in his criticisms of the constant sniping at things that do not deserve it.
Why? We will have got some form of sponsorship which is a good thing, isn't it? What is it that offends or embarrasses you about Flamingo Land?
'Just a bit naff' is hardly the most damning of criticisms is it? I think Dalt's summed it up very well '#hcafc sponsor is a bit naff, but not too vexed/surprised - marketing people who think Hull Tigers is a good idea would hardly land Apple...'
I dont moan at much Chaz I hate animals having to live in cages so i sure wont ever wear this seasons shirt.
Bunkum. It does amuse me that you qualify your bizarre sense of ethics with your senseof the size of the perceived monetary reward - everything has a price, hey!
Do you reckon Happy would have criticised our owners if they'd gone with an 'unethical' sponsor? Bollocks would he. We could have announced Dyncorp as our new sponsors and he would have praised the move.
Teenage Cancer Trust What a great thing that would have been on our new shirt. Especially as the Allams support cancer Charitys. Just my opinion
