The Toby thread on saintsweb has just entered a new phase. There's speculation he left because..........

he's a homosexual. Don't think I'll head to his dad's twitter account for confirmation if you don't mind though!

I think you will find that this is one of the better boards, but we have been subject to a few charlattans in the past and are always wary of dodgy newbies, they are normally found out if they get out of line. There is no cause for anyone to be abusive, there will always be disputes but they should never result in personal abuse on any scale. If you cannot post sensibly and feel the need to abuse fellow posters there are plenty of alternative sites that find it acceptable behaviour, this one generally doesn't and has been better for it.

How can I be annoyed with you disagreeing with my opinion if you never once offered any kind of disagreement or comment. This here is a prime example of how obnoxious you really are. This is not a personal attack, this is me welcoming you to disagree with my opinion or even offer yours, not make continual sarcastic comments - yes the ones you refer to as hard to read on a forum. Don't try to one up me with your witty online banta or make continual condescending comments to people who do other things than sit around all day looking for the latest journo report on transfers. You don't know everything, you don't rule the world and certainly don't realise that your obnoxious demeanor is exactly the problem with forums. You are far more intolerable than even the most pessimistic of Saints fans as you think you're better than everyone else as you haven't shown any emotion over goings on! It's football, and football is emotion.

Shame Craig. I've just read and responded to a good point you made in another thread. Maybe I broke a rule?

What I do find though is that quite often people don't like having a debate. So if you are new and someone disagrees with you, it's not because you're new it's because they disagree. Now if they haven't discussed things with you before or you or they are not used to your style of phrasing, etc, then it can be misconstrued as unwelcoming. The more you post and discuss, the more people get used to each other's styles. Maybe some of the longer posting people are aware of each other's style.

You are reading far too much into my post.
 
Sometimes I think that those few (for the most part infamous) posters who were always looking for a chance to be negative, who complained about every aspect to the point that they almost seemed like trolls, have kind of scarred this forum into being a bit over sensitive towards criticising or even just questioning the club. Sure there's still people who will just needlessly moan about anything, and those who will vent on the match threads after losses mostly just bitching and not actually saying anything of substance, but it feels like at times these days any discussion of anything that could be viewed as looking negatively at the club is dismissed and moved on from. Want to discuss how we went about an attempted transfer or our policy in general? Pshhh, [HASHTAG]#Meltdown[/HASHTAG], doesn't matter now, move on.

You know it's not what you say. By putting name in there regardless of the bracket you knew what you were doing. Life is too short, but getting annoyed at randoms is inevitable when annoyed by said randomers.

Nope I thought you would take it as what it is. I have never been wound up on here even by you, I don't see the point in getting annoyed over people that don't know you in person. That's just leave it there tho. This thread is getting way off topic and even the topic is dead.
 
And here we all go again! Sarcasm isn't lost on everyone, people do understand, you're all hilarious naturally. An actual and willing debater - not just another nodding yes guy - over, and most certainly out.
