Just finished work.....now reading on here has me confused no end?
Has Toby had a medical at Spurs ? Or is that just media talk?
Has his dad/agent said no deal with anyone yet?
Now we are back in with a bigger offer?

I've given up trying to keep up with what actually happening and now I'm just sitting back and enjoying the best soap opera I've seen for years.

Yeah, if anything it's worse from this side of the Atlantic, because you wake up to a dozen pages of new drama thanks to the time difference.

 

I'm with Beefy. This is just funny now.

Of course it may not stay so funny if he goes to Spurs.

Also, someone earlier asked if anything like this has happened before. The John Obi Mikel transfer mess with Chelsea and Man Utd springs to mind.

 

And Willian with Spurs and Chelsea. Probably a lot more tbh.

 

Yep 7 hours behind the UK, then the issue of being at work, and having to catch up during my breaks. However, its a small inconvenience to living in such a fantastic Country

 

How do you know what we did or did not do.

 

When I went to Florida years ago, it was like being on another planet. Thanks to the internet you are never far enough away. Have a good time.

 

I'm thinking of waiting for the film of this to be released, in chuckle vision - me to you, you to me.
Just hope Ron and Les don't end up being the Chuckle brothers. Poch and Levy would be better cast in that role.

 

I like to imagine Ronald telling Les to go to Madrid to get the deal done... "And no SLACKING!"

 

Katharina will have flown Les over herself in her personal Lear Jet: "I'll just land here on the Paseo de Los Melancolicos to save time, now don't come out without him!"

 

I guess our lawyers have been talking to their lawyers etc and turned round and said "yeah, we're ****ed", at which point Kat/Les said "right, pull out every single stop and screw them".

How I like to think of it anyhow.

Yeah, to some extent but the Mikel one was truly amazing. Both clubs announced he'd signed for them and FIFA (or UEFA?) said he had to go back to his Norwegian club while they worked out what was going on and eventually Chelsea paid stupid money to both other clubs to seal the deal. Do the same here and that could be a new transfer high for us... fleecing a club for a player that wasn't even ours in the first place!
