  3. Since they were stupid enough to make that offer, Burnley would have a good argument for the compensation to be that amount. However, I don't think they would get that much still since its not about how much the ex-club wants, its about how much they should be compensated.

    As Nozzle said earlier, if compensation for such situations take offers such as this into consideration, why wouldn't the rival clubs all offer £250m before pulling out?

    If it's a valid bid that they're not going to withdraw then why would they want anything less? <whistle>

    They will never get that amount, the bid is taken into consideration not accepted as a value. Any bid like this will raise the compensation cost but will never equal it <ok>

    They didn't withdraw the bid but the contract has now expired, therefore previous valuations will be taken into account when deciding a fair tribunal fee :grin:

    The former Borussia Dortmund is apparently in line to replace Brendan Rodgers should the Kop boss receive the chop.
