SSN reporting that Villa have accepted a £20 million bid from Liverpool for SD after he handed in a written transfer request.

Bit pricey, but hopefully this saga is now over.

Thoughts?
 
A tad steep I think. I think you've been fleeced for a fairly average player and I'm being absolutely honest, not winding up.

Charlie Adam is better.
 
The worst thing is that other targets such as Mata are now history (probably).

I'll try and be optimistic, i guess at least we will have a 'proper' winger <ok>
 
Atleast we eventually have a winger!!

I hope we can look forward to many more signings... LB in particular.
 
well its done now and its not our money.If kenny and fsg feel he is worth it then fair enough.Pleased to have him on board.good player,not flashy like ronaldo/nani but i think he will do a good job for us.
Also where are all the doubters and cynics who said Fsg would not put money into the club.Although I cant see us signing anymore 20 mill + players i think we will still see a couple more signings inc Cissokho.
The squad is really starting to take shape and if (and its a big IF) joe cole was to fire then i think we will be areal force to be reckoned with.
 
It would be great if Cole could step it up next year. I'd love him to do well

I dont think 'flashy like Ronaldo' would be good. Suarez is that 'flashy' player for Liverpool, I dont think you really want loads of them in one team. In fact 1 could do it.
