I'm saying I haven't read it. I try to maintain dignity. Couldn't care less about who spurs have made captainAre you saying that the Mirror are wrong and Pochettinho hasn't made Lloris and Kane captain and vice captain ?![]()

Presuming the Mirror are right then, could it be a desperate last attempt to try and prevent Lloris and Kane from leaving ?Lloris was often our Captain on the field last year. Club Captain is Younes Kaboul with Lloris one of the vice Captains. Given Kaboul no longer has a future with us, then Lloris is natural choice. Nobody thinks being made Captain would sway his decision to leave if that is what he wants.Presuming the Mirror are right then, could it be a desperate last attempt to try and prevent Lloris and Kane from leaving ?

I think Kane will stay (for this season) but I'm not so sure about Lloris. Especially if De Gea goes to Real, then it could start a GK merry-go-round.
I'm just happy it looks like we've got Cech![]()
Yes, Mourinho's terrified of Cech going to Arsenal and you winning the league, so Chelsea are allowing the transfer to go through because...?
That paragon of virtue Abramovich is clearly overruling his manager, due to his principles and strong sense of morality.
I discussed this with my Chelsea mate, yesterday. He's not bothered that Cech is going, and even welomes it. He told me that the games he saw Cech play, last season, he ****ed up in. He pointed, particularly, to Cech's increasing inabuility to save balls fired in at the top corners of the goal.

You're quoting a journalist.Mourinho is quoted as saying he didn't want to sell Cech at all, he still rates him as one of his best players.
As I said, it was Abramovich who gave the green light and did indeed overrule his manager :
In the eyes of the Chelsea manager, Arsenal should never have been an option. The final decision essentially came down to Abramovich, who took advice from Mourinho, the chairman Bruce Buck and the directors Marina Granovskaia and Eugene Tenenbaum. At the start of this month, Mourinho was told that Cech would be rewarded for 11 years of outstanding service and consummate professionalism with the right to pick his next club, whether it be in England or abroad - effectively deeming him a special case.

Bournemouth are the new Chelsea.Bournemouth seem to be doing a lot of good business, nice and early as well. Mings will be a great signing for them I reckon.

I didn't take that degree of interest in him, so I cannot say if that is a fair criticism or not.
What I am certain of, however, is that neither The Smug One nor Mad Dog would even consider letting Cech join Arsenal if they genuinely believed he was going to make Arsenal a stronger team.
Your 'mate' was talking out of his chocolate starfish, as he kept 8 clean sheets in 16 appearances last season for Chelsea.

You're quoting a journalist.
Mourinho talked Cech up, as that's what he does.
If he was genuinely worried by the move, then it wouldn't happen.
If Mourinho said that he was utter **** and over the hill, would that influence your opinion?
If not, then why is his praise remotely relevant?
I'm not saying that he's right, but I judge people by their actions and not their words.
Chelsea dont improve their rivals intentionally.
