I fear it will be difficult to shift some players for much of a fee. In January Lambert was allowed time to 'think about' a £5m move to Aston Villa. £5m is a lot. I expect to get very little for Enrique, but I think we will maybe get around £6m for Borini. I wont be to surprised if Luis Alberto leaves for fee but I expect some one to pay up for Balotelli.
Neymadge; quite a famous number nine for Brazil currently playing for Barca PS...we won't get any of them, I wasn't being 100% serious
Just read that Shaqiri may be on his way to Stoke for £9m That's be a real coup for them......If BR still wants another creative midfielder, he probably couldn't do better for the money!
Sevilla have pulled out of the running to sign Kono. Even though he's a free transfer, something just doesn't seem right - heard that Dnipro's President is still pulling strings.
I would say really if Firmino is really a sterling replacement my no 1 target is a striker now. 3 lads to shift out there but we have to return to the 4 Man line up of sturridge Ings origi and a top man. Then after that the main actual gap will be cm or lb. We've 2 GK 2/3 RB 4 cbs 1 lb I think at cm we have 4/5 players including coutinho if he plays there so with a 3 man midfield that might be short We have a shed load of am type players We have 3 strikers now but questions on 2 We have several dead wood type players we need to shed
If we signed Kovacic, then I think we will see Firmino play up front as either False 9 or as part of a 2. If we sign someone like Illarremendi, then I think Can will be starting on the bench.
£35m??? Firmino £28m Clyne £12m Gonez £6m Isn't that £46m? plus the tribunal fee for Ings and Milners signing on fee, you'll be well over £50m already
Would like to see Enrique, Coates, Borini, Lambert, either Allen/Lucas out for starters. None can really offer us anything bar Lucas and Allen, but both are injury prone and neither will get into the side ahead of the others.
I'm assuming the two / three RBs are Flanno, Mankiller and Clyne as the question mark? If so, you missed Wisdom. As for LB, I'm assuming you meant Moreno. Flano can play that side plus we still have Enrique.
This isn't me being biased against Flanno or anything but is the club really expecting anything from him? The reason I ask is because he's suffered 2 very serious knee injuries and won't be back until December time. Can we really say he's a viable squad option?
Enrique will be gone - I know we'll disagree re. his ability but more importantly, his attitude and work ethic are completely off, not to mention he's injury prone. I wonder how serious the Lucas Digne rumours are - another talented player.
I'm done with manquillo I think he is homesick, not our player and could well go home too. I included flanagan just for you and wisdom Enrique has been told to find a new club. For me we are ok on RB but not lb. Moreno cannot defend for ****. Hence Digne rumours I suppose
I get the impression Lucas wants to move on. Allen is a useful player and I'm more than happy to have him around. I also see him as the type of player who wont show his best until he's 26-30 years old. He's worth keeping around. I notice you did not mention Balotelli?
If the reported figures are right then... Firmino is £22m possibly raising to £29m with add-ons Clyne I have no idea so will accept the £12m you suggest. Gonez is £3.5m That's an initial £37.5m possibly raising to £44.5m
I think that is fair enough but since he was given a year extension on his contract the club are obviously giving him a chance to recover.
