I went a bit OTT on a thread with him before the general election, that sort of sowed the seeds to the other thing the other night. On the old BBC 606, when I said my bit against the flow of Safc supporters, that lad was always there to back me up. He saw what I saw on the pitch and I have always respected him since then..

I'm looking forward to some good signings to get ignite the debate proper. Think Dick might just be the one to finally offer Short a decent return for his bucks. He has quickly figured out our general lack of quality and pace, despite a fair few quid being spent but more so now with targeted first team acquisitions not ones for the future or gambles.

I'm pretty excited for the new campaign to see how we look and play.
