Time will tell mate. You've got the horn for him, but you were saying similar things about Markovic last summer. I know jack about him, so can't comment, but I'll watch him with interest.
Markovic is supremely talented but needs time - he wasn't bought to deliver straight away, that's what Lallana was for (not to mention the fact that Marko was often played out of position) - granted, I still expected more from him. Been watching Firmino for a while and was vocal about signing him last season (when he was cheaper). His ability, fee, potential is very similar to the Torres/Suarez signings. Time will tell.

I think it's a good thing that Tobes is criticising the fee and not the player... Firmino has been a rising star for two seasons... starts for Brazil... has the skill and energy to fit our system perfectly... and should help us keep Coutinho. He was never leaving for less than £20m due to multiple teams being interested... If the deal is £22m and add ons... who cares really? Milner and Firmino are two very solid signings imo and considering Milner (and Ings) were free... we've done the shrewd stuff to allow this sort of signing. Great day
Yup but Adam Lallana also had been only doing it for 1 year. Same as Firmino last year who would have gone at half the price. Firmino has now done it 2 years in a row so obviously we should see a price rise. He is 23 which is a very young age (considering Sterling is getting ridiculous 45m bids). 29m is still a lot though and i am a bit surprised but relative to Lallanas 25m its still a bargain
It's not my line up. It was in one of the rags today. As far as I know we have not signed Clyne either

Liverpool have begun talks to sign Monaco defender Aymen Abdennour. Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle are all also interested in the 25-year-old but have yet to make contact with the Tunisian international. • Does Aymen Abdennour make our top 100 summer transfer targets? Abdennour's agent has confirmed Liverpool's interest in the player and revealed that a number of other clubs are also chasing his signature. Abdennour only joined Monaco from Toulouse last summer but is understood to be open to a fresh move. “There are lots of big clubs that are interested in Abdennour," his agent Abdelkader Jilani said.
At some point soon, the rest of the window is going to feel very boring. Either that, or we'll have a huge squad next season.
