Been away from the board for a while as i got a bit sick of it to be honest but missed the crackmafter a few months and decided to post a simple hello last night but after about 20 or so replies, the thread was closed due to content replies. It descended into a major schoolyard squabble very quickly but without any real humour. Well, nee humour at all Tbh. Seems nothing at all has really changed.
I missed the good. footy crack not the **** throwing. I was a **** thrower Tbh but got tired of it which is one reason I stayed away.
Everyone is probably going a little stir crazy at the moment until the season starts again Cest. Hopefully things will get back to footy in August
To be honest there's very little **** slinging. God knows what brought JPF out of the woodwork for your thread. We don't see nowt of most of the mags apart from Somb and QWOP. But since the season ended the mag Wums have started to surface. Call it bad timing on your part Cest, You've picked the board at it's quietest to come back. Boards gone dead since the season ended.
On the contrary, the board is very good imo. This is the close season so people are kicking their heels a bit and a couple of idiotic Mags made a rare appearance. The board is excellent during the season I'd say.
QWOP was always a canny poster. I'm looking forward to some good signings to get ignite the debate proper. Think Dick might just be the one to finally offer Short a decent return for his bucks. He has quickly figured out our general lack of quality and pace, despite a fair few quid being spent but more so now with targeted first team acquisitions not ones for the future or gambles. I'm pretty excited for the new campaign to see how we look and play.
One thing that has changed is that many of the old posters are having time off. Names such as Defive, and Gonads, are not seen much..Sure they will return, along with the likes of Mackemsrule etc..

The footy stuff is great - an excellent source of info and getting different views on stuff. The name calling threads are just tedious when they do crop up. You did miss a classic one though where the vast majority of us were deemed idiots and not wanting the best for Sunderland because we didn't want Harry Rednapp as manager!
I post as and when but it's been a bit more of late since we hired a new carer for Lollie. I suppose there has been a bit of verbal but that is more alcohol related to actually having a go at people. All in all I still think we have a great crop of people on here from different lives that mix and blend well. A bit like match day at the SOL..
Add Disco to that, he ****ed off a few days ago, not seen him since. Said he'd had enough of the site, shame cos he was a top poster. Nads is barely on at all anymore, seems he's away in Vegas and being a lad, selfish bastard.
Yeah, he didn't say specifically what annoyed him, me and him were debating Muslims at the time, I didn't think it got particularly out of hand or owt, but he seemed to just give up and ****ed off. One of my favourite posters on this site, never afraid to pipe up, I hope he's just having a short break.
I might be wrong but it might of been me that upset him. The thing is we go back years and he is and always will be one of my favourite posters and a lad I totally respect. My alcohol related posts have been totally OTT lately and he is the last person I'd want to upset, so apologies mate & get your arse back..
I wouldn't imagine he's left off the back of one comment mate, don't blame yourself. He doesn't seem that type, to quit in a huff.
