If you have your car on hand travel down the coast a few miles to Anderby Creek. More like a continental style beach with just a cafe and uninterupted sands with fewer people.....that is unless you actually like the noise of arcades and the great unwashed fighting for their space fuelled by lager.

Anderby Creek reminds me of the beaches in Portugal minus the hotter climate and with the addition of traditional English coastal winds.

The very lovely Mrs Godders and I have rented a caravan in Skegness for a fortnight. We are away from next Monday for a fortnight.

Didn't we frustrate Max Gradel in the Championship.? At one point he went over in the area and jumped up and down, banging his fists on the ground because he couldn't get what he wanted from the referee. Saints 3-1 Leeds U.
