Only if it was 8/13 or 13/8 on. 13/8 are longer odds than 1/1 which is 1 chance in 2 (or 2 in 4). Therefore 2 out of 5?
Now I'm thinking you were right all along! We know it's better than 2/1 2/1 is 1 in 3 Your suggestion is 1 in 2.5 which sounds right.
13/8, flip it around so get 8 divided by 13 = .615 * 100 = 61.5% chance he will go to Chelsea 13/8 is shorter odds than 2/1 therefore more likely to happen
If I have a pound coin and buy three apples at 20p each, do I have enough for the 50p fare home? Anyone?
It's just 8 divided by 21 expressed as a percentage - there are 8 chances of winning and 13 chances of losing in every twenty 21.
Austin is no where near the player Remy is yet and I can't see him playing at the plastics Remy needs to play for the Gunners then Arsenal will win it
I'm not so sure on either point. I don't think it suits Remy to play 40 games a season. His body just can't do it so playing a bit part suits him and he can live the millionaire life with minimal effort. Austin is a Trojan who will play through pain but not suited to playing a bit part IMO. They could sign Messi and Ronaldo and not win it while Wenger is there.
Haggle! Get the grocer down to 50p for the three and then you're laughing. Alternately, don't be such a greedy git and buy two apples and then you will have 10p to put in the Romanian beggar's cup on your way to the bus stop
