Does anyone have any good 'Whoosh' moments they can entertain us with?

Personally I was shocked to find out recently that the song 'Afternoon Delight' by The Starland Vocal Band (which I unknowingly sang along to as a boy) is actually about shagging in the afternoon!!! :emoticon-0104-surpr

I only recently - in the last 6 months - realised that Pearl Jam was a euphemism for jizz.

Some people think Rock Around The Clock is about dancing all night.

Realise what rock and also roll meant in black communities and songs take on a different meaning.

    "Have you heard the news?
    There's good rocking tonight
Meet me on the corner as fast as you can
For tonight I'm gonna be a might, mighty man"

    That wasn't about dancing either.

Only mentioned it as years ago never even thought about until my sons were discussing them. A whoosh moment for me.

There's a good episode of Arrested Development where a guy and his 14 year old niece come to the same realisation whilst singing it as a duet at the office xmas party.

    I have lots of these!

    My latest:

The alphabet is called the alphabet because the first two letters in the Greek alphabet are Alpha and Beta

Hadn't thought about it like that before!

The word trivia comes from the fact that Romans used to post bits of news on posts where three roads met.
    Tri Via.

Steely Dan was a victorian ( I believe) word for a kind of dildo, and 10cc is the average amount of sperm produced at ejaculation.
