Listening to Joe Hart earlier today saying "I believe the club is going in the right direction and that's why I decided to commit my future to it."
First thought was delusions of grandeur from an above average keeper. Second thought was, no mate you're there cos you landed on your feet mate bcos City could do a fck of a lot better than you, you self deluded charlie big bollox.

And ofcourse ££££ has nothing to do with it either eh Joe?
 
Most join city purely for the mega bucks, and the chance to spend no more than half the season playing, the rest of the time getting paid to sit on their arse and do nothing

To be honest it may have been ONE of many reasons Rooney stayed at United. The difference is that for City players it's usually the ONLY reason. Proof? How many were really bothered about their season last season? None.
 
Rooney stayed because of money and because he didnt want to tarnish his career moving to a nothing club.

Hes bigger than City, a more valuable brand with bigger support around the world. Why would he have wanted to have a small club piggy back off his name and success?

Absolutely.

That's how City managed to sign Messi, Kaka, Terry and Eto'o by offering them **** loads of money which they all immediately accepted.

I distinctly remember Messi saying "I'm already rich, and if I stayed at Barca I'd be much happier and win loads more trophies, awards and acclaim. But I'm going to City so I can stick an extra zero at the end of my bank balance".

Amazing how quickly City fans have sold their soul for this cr@p. Precisely why you are nothing more than a manufactured club. Our tradition, history, club ethos, ambition, the manner in which we have built our success in England and Europe...all sets us apart from your fly by night club and attracted big players as recently as Mata and RvP - who turned your ££££ to come to us :)

Every single club in the premier league has sold its soul to Sky. Do you honestly believe they only gave US money you halfwit? The fact you're a Mikey Mouse club run by idiots who blew the exact equal chance every club was given is not really something for you to flag up.
