Fan or not, his behaviour has been grim. He's disrespected his club, his colleagues and the fans by his actions over this move. Contracts seemingly mean jack **** these days and the meaning of the word loyalty isn't seemingly understood by young footballers these days either.

100% correct <ok>

What I don't get is how readily some of his team mate are willing to defend him. The other day Lallana was bigging him up, frankly if I were a team mate I wouldn't want to talk about Sterling. Sterling has basically turned around and said 'you're all ****wits to stay at LFC' and 'I'm better than the lot of you, you're not fit to be my team mate and I don't trust you to win anything.'

Sterling not only insults the club, he insults the other players.

Once a press hack throws you the hand grenade you've a choice. Be the one to cause the headlines or deflect.

They have all been briefed before presser and prior to going off to do exactly what they have done.

I am confident he's sent to Coventry in the dressing room though.

However in the olden days of the 1990s even if a person did this they'd be savaged and if they missed a sitter they'd be openly abused on the pitch

You are right he has told them all to go stick it. I'm sure there's lads behind his back giving him stick and the odd cold shoulder

He may well have a case

yup. second season syndrome is a big possibility for southampton this year. they tailed off big time last year and have to do some work in the market.

Koeman pulled in some lads he worked with before so now its time to show the in depth knowledge to improve.

Depends what the add ons are for. Say if £1m is for winning the league, yep ok Citeh/Sterling could win the league in the next couple of years, we'd see that money. However if £1m+ is for winning the CL, we might as well write that money off as thats not going to happen.

Personally £40m should be the basic fee, then we should talk add ons.

As I just said in the transfer thread, **** the add ons - couldn't care less what you go on to achieve or not, its your risk not ours.

They have stupidly come out and said they have hundreds of millions to spend, so 50's please

My only concern is that City pull out and then there's no real interest from any others and the little twat stays! The current bid is enough imo and we should grab it with both hands. I hope I'm wrong and that we get more for him but surely at some point teams will walk away as he simply isn't worth the £50 million that we are putting out there.
