Off Topic Afcftw Mafia Game

I have no knowledge of mafia habits or practices. Only a mafia would know what a mafia would say so that might mean you are mafia?

 

Reads on people for what it's worth

Mikey - Pablo. Last of the Cartel.

No Chance - have believed him to be Townie. No Chance is the only one to compete with MITO on number AND volume of comments. No Chance has played like this before and wos "good guy". Also the other night when on in the early hours by himself probably arguing with himself suggests Townie or very sad "bad guy". I go for Townie.

ACS - Again have played with Chippy before and his playing style (if that's what you call it) is reminiscent of when he has been a "bad guy". He flatters to deceive (or at least that's what all his partners have said) by making comments in bursts but if you look at what he has actually said, there's nothing in it (again like his favoured chinos). For me I'm inclined that Chippy is Mafia.

SWARBS - Hard to read. If pushed I would guess Town but contrary to No Chance I haven't seen many leading comments to help the Town. Still have suspicions though.

Bodanki - To me he has played a very quiet game in the background. Leaning towards Schizo or Meat Head. Would be saying not Mafia.

Sir T - We have the info suggesting he is Mafia. I think he is Town. Helpful comments and too visible, although that might have been forced due to the info. (Hiding in front of everyone). On the balance when looking at others I would say Town.

Bobby - Quiet and in the background. Would put him down as Schizo or Meth Head. Not seen anything to say "bad guy".

Me - townie.

Lucaas - To me Lucaas is the other Mafia. Too quiet, non voting for no sound reason.i.e his vote wouldn't make a difference to outcome. Not sure why as Mafia he would adopt that stance as ultimately going to make him visible. But been no help to Town at all in game and no apparent attempt to aid Town either makes me believe he is the other Mafia.

Obi - Where do you begin. Think No Chance hit the nail on the head when he said Obi's out to win and the likes are his method to this. Still hasn't even tried to explain why his first list of 3 seems to be all wrong despite Obi's claim that at least 1 was correct. If 1 is then perhaps Obi could say which one.

Summary:

1. Lynch - Mikey

2. Schizo - Lucaas

3. Meat Head - Chippy/Bobby

 

I dunno, the initial rules were pretty clear than the SK wouldn't know who they were until activated. I think AFC would be happy to stick stuff in which isn't in the rules, but I can't see him writing something in the OP which is blatantly false.

You might be right about the Mafia, although I'd expect them to have gained and used at least one power by now. They killed Biscan and if we assume they killed Gerrez then they haven't done anything for the past two or three nights. That's a big risk as they could easily have been killed given how randomly the SK and meth head seem to be striking.

As for hidden actions:

Bodanki has steadfastly refused to vote for Tobes or Mikey, in the face of all the evidence against them, so maybe he activates some power by keeping the vote from being unanimous?
Lucaaas didn't vote on day two or day four, and only voted today after I pointed it out, so maybe something there?

Problem is you can find suspicious stuff from anyone, so if the Mafia are building up a head of steam in the background it's really difficult to tell.

 

That sounds fine with me, but will the schizo and meth head actually listen to us!

Also if the schizo has targeted Bobby twice in a row, like the tags suggest, maybe the meth head should be on ACS or Lucaaas?

 

Some quite interesting thoughts.
After your vote for me yesterday I fully expected you to come out of the shadows (how is Hank?) and go against me once again.
As virtually everyone knows I'm town, that is an obvious.. and of course growing tell you have there.
It will be interesting to see who (if anyone) sides you you on lonely island....
Either way though I fully expect a mafia hit on me tonight so this will be an important post of reference once the truth comes out.

I've technically voted every round, now that I've voted for Mikey. Not my fault my vote on day 2 was ignored. My point about not voting was people saying I should vote Tobes despite it being 14-1 or something in his favour at the time.

And the reason I haven't been doing much posting & solving is that I've been really busy and when I've actually had the chance to come on I haven't got any knowledge of what's been going on as I've missed most of the stuff that's been said so its really hard to accuse people based on nothing. I feel its better to stay quiet if you're not sure rather than go in and start throwing random accusations around based on no evidence around the place which is really unhelpful to the town. When I've seen something suspicious I've spoken up but that's why I've been quiet most of the time.

 

I did vote for Tennisball on the 2nd day. It was just ignored, I just didn't change my vote for Tobes and my vote wasn't counted for some reason.

 

The funny thing about this game is people like Bobby is saying I've been quiet but I dunno if there's a way to check on this new forum but I'm pretty sure I've made more posts than him?

Less Than- Despite obi's mischief I've flipped and now thing he is town...

ACS - Ignore the beelers lads. I'm proper town on every level.

SWARBS - wasn't sure at all about him but he's just sided with Sebb so this may be a bit fishy.

Bodanki - A fellow townie I reckon as he has a nice username.

Sir T - I've thought he was Mafia for quite a while but now I reckon he is town.

Bobby - I have my suspicions he may be the serial killer (if I die tonight this will confirm).

Sebb - He's been quieter than normal.. big time. As we're at the business end of the game he's come out of the shadows and immediately fingered me as the mafia when the consensus is that I aren't. His 'evidence' is weaker than our defence at the Toon. - Mafioso guaranteed.

Lucaas - Innocent townie.

Obi - He's just pulling our pisser lads. He's like that normally and has, for a change been clearly leaving most of these tags. Normally I'm the tag king but I've been outdone here. He's a harmless old Jedi who pisses the bed still (JPF told me).

I personally think we shoud look at the people who have been saying I'm probably mafia with no evidence.

Sebb & Less Hope than Neville have been trying to make me look guilty. Its either a massive coincidence that both of them are trying to get me killed within an hour of each other or they have been talking on the mafia board and coming up with a plan to pick out the quiet poster because they know everyone always goes along with killing the quieter people in games.

To be fair we did have that post from Obi back on day 2 saying you were seen near Gerrez' house on the night he died. It's not much, but more hard evidence than we have on most people.

Although I'm now unconvinced Obi is on the level, given that none of his 'evidence' has actually been borne out by reality and he is now acting like a nutter.

If I was the meth head I'd probably just top myself now and be done with it. Such a ****ing head ****.

 

Pretty much true. Problem is Valley outed himself and in the process he forced MITO to out himself. Which means we lost 2 in 1 move. And now we have no real knowledge and we'll be really lucky to win this game, especially with the meth head being ridiculous and targetting innocents (if he's allowed to choose) and also the serial killer being a bit of a loose cannon.

The Rambler AKA Obi - the rambler cannot vote for the lynch, cannot be voted to be lynched but can be killed by the serial killer or mafia. If the Cartel try to recruit the rambler he will be killed. The Rambler is not a bad guy or a good guy and may choose to contribute constructively to the town or get in there way. Mischief is the word.

He isn't allowed to communicate like you Mafia boys do..... is that a slip up in that you expect everyone to have the same comms/alliances that you do?.... or just a case of clutching at straws?
