Immediate transportation like in Star Trek, energise. I'm surprised it has not been invented yet. Must be fairly easy I would have thought.

Don't know why they don't ask the makers of all these sci-fi stuff, they seem to be brimming with ideas and are way aheaed of their time.

I reckon that's the next big thing. Stem cell injections and Synthetic organs. Instead of getting fillings, crowns, veneers at the dentist, you get a steam cell injection that grows a complete new tooth/teeth.
That and maybe, (i know this is pure sci-fi) goal-line technology for football matches.

My brother has really bad teeth and was offered a place in the medical trial for that. He said no as they needed to drill in to his legs to get stem cells first.
 
With improved voice recognition and translation software, it'll soon be possible to converse with foreigners even though you don't speak each others language.
