A Liverpool supporting mate of mine seems to think that West Ham want Lovren?

Probably just made it up because Bilic is now manager

When he was croatian manager, Bilić didn't rate Lovren highly, he was often 3rd or 4th choice for a CB, and it's not as if Croatia has a pool of great player on that position.

Clyne has spoken to Brendan Rodgers and agreed terms with Liverpool in theory. Liverpool having been taking their time making low offers, thinking that United had lost interest and were therefore the only club interested. Since Alves has signed a new deal united have made a fresh enquiry for clyne (who are obviously clynes preferred option). This is the latest I've heard

So, the chance of clyne putting his name on a new contract with us ?? Zilch. Must be at the point now were we just get as much £££ as we can for selling him.clearly thinks the grass is greener

That's assuming there's an inkling of truth in it.

I thought the delays were when he was with the other agent. Probably a deadline for the agent as opposed to the player. With talks starting to go well with the new agent 'threats' probably wouldn't work. Still 50-50 IMO

The one question i have....... Why has clyne not put pen to paper, despite a couple of "deadlines" .... Hes off to were the grass is greener (more money)

Clyne changed his agent, which took time, and has been away with England and still is since the end of the season. He may well go, but you'd expect the club were waiting until he finished International duty to talk to him etc.

IMO, the pre England call up Clyne would be a big miss for Saints, but since then, he hasn't been that wonderful for us, almost like he now believes his own hype. It has now got to the point where I just wish he would go (which I think he will) and allow us to get a replacement in, which I think Ron and Les will 100% already have lined up.

It's dream world but I would love Carl Jenkinson as a replacement. (on loan?)

No way do Arsenal need Debuchy, Bellerin, Chambers and Jenkinson. At least one will surely be allowed to this leave summer, maybe two (albeit maybe none on permanent deals - it might just be that one or both of the former two are made available for loan).

Rather buy a player instead of loan. As it stands if Clyne goes we have no first team rbs.
