First day back on here in a while and this thread reminded me there's now a hole on the forum the size and shape of a Foredeckdave .
I know how you loved your music dave, so on my first day back, this one's for you from all who'll miss your input on here.

You must log in or register to see media

And while you're sitting up there with Shanks and Paisley, could you maybe get their views on which way our beloved club should be going and then send it on the breeze to whisper in the ears of those who can make it happen .....

Like a few others, I've been out of the loop for a while. While I'm not from the city, country, or even continent at the moment, I feel a connection to a lot of you and Dave was one of those people. I enjoyed talking to him. Thanks to his and others efforts, this board felt very accepting and almost like a "home". While I am a bit of an outsider, from the way Dave and some of the senior members here acted, I never felt like I wasn't a part of this community.

So it speaks highly of Dave's character to see how he went out of his way to make this board a welcoming and friendly place. I'm sure he did the same in his everyday life and I hope his legacy lives on. Hopefully the other God is a red too. I'm sure he will have a few choice words to say about our future posts, once we all meet again in the great Kop in the sky.

RIP Dave, thanks for all you've done and I hope we do you proud.
