I can see you guys buying him even doe you don't need him and dump him on the bench and p/ss off Liverpool
As long as we get the players we do need as well, I would be happy with that

I thought rosicky had signed a 1 year extension
Rumours about Cech are hotting up

The difference being my sauces are to be believedMy sources are also telling me Higuain is close to being done.![]()

I always find believable sauces taste better. I mean i just dont believe that the asda's own ketchup has real tomatos in it, but i can believe that the M&S Tomato Sauce isnt just any old tomato sauce.![]()
Rumours are mainly of Cech, the Arsenal transfer legend Higuain and Jackson Martinez. No news on any perspective DMs? For a striker i would be happy, for a striker and DM i would be very happy, for all three positions, ecstatic!
Either (maybe even likely) the newspapers are just churning out all the likely names and have no idea who Wenger wants to go for. Or maybe, just maybe, Wenger is thinking of deploying Wilshere in a Arteta/Gerrard Deep Lying Playmaker role next to Coq or maybe instead of Coq in some games, if he thinks his strength and physicality/tackling can improve. That way there is space for almost every midfielder in the team.
Not my preference at all, but I, and others, have frequently written off young/injured players at Arsenal, only for them to show dramatic improvements.
Not basing this on anything, just a guess. And seemingly like a lot of people, I'd rather sign a physical DM who can enforce himself on the game and protect the back 4.
So you drink what comes out of Messi? Yuck.I think the unbelievable sauces taste better as you can imagine any flavour you want. I mean that Messi sauce is one of the best out there.
What would that mean for outgoings. Would you keep Walcott and Giroud. If you get Martinez as well, you will have to cut a couple of them presumably? My sources are also telling me Higuain is close to being done.![]()
We aren't getting 2 STs.What would that mean for outgoings. Would you keep Walcott and Giroud. If you get Martinez as well, you will have to cut a couple of them presumably?
Would still make you top heavy in the forwards. Newbie, Giroud, Walcott, Sanchez, Welbeck, Oxlad-Ch, Ozil, Cazorla, Wilshere, Rosicki, Gnarbry all competing for 4 places. No question of bringing through any U21s for the forseeable.Just the one and we're done...
Liverpool really making waves in this transfer window with Ings,Milner and now Bogdan. Watch out everyone.
Well he is better than the likes of Borini,Balotelli and Lambert, so yeah they probably would.Maybe we should flog Podolski to them too.....
I'm not convinced that Wilshere can do that role effectively, he hasn't shown the power or strength at a high level, but maybe this is to do with his injuries? I prefer a Coqs and Ramsey partnership. Ramsey so far has proven that he can do the whole deep lying position well without falling all over the place, yet run into the box and score goals. I see Wilshere as a more advanced CAM type midfielder, but we will see how well he does when he's not injured and on a long run.
I still think we need more depth in that DM/enforcer type role. Again, other than Coqs, we have a past it Flamini? or Arteta, who isn't very physical. To sustain a long Prem campaign, you need the players to play the ugly stuff and grind out results when necessary. During the Invincibles era, it wasn't all about nice football, we also did the ugly stuff well. Players like Vieira and Gilberto did what they had to do to get the results flowing. We need that now. We have Coqs but need another to partner/fill in when necessary.
