Agreed. It has to be Valley that investigates MITO. however, there is still a risk that the Mafia will kill MITO if h is being honest

 

Well it does at least give us something to go on. A 66% chance of being right at least gives us a basis upon which to apply some pressure.

Also, statistically, if Tobes is cartel then we have 16 remaining players, 12 innocent, three mafia and one SK. So even if MITO has only a 66% success rate, we have 75% good guys, so he is still likely to help us find the mafia and SK before we run out of players.

I agree it's not great, but it's better than **** all!

 

They have to earn more fella. What good is a Mafia with two bullets.

So we need to think about how they would accumulate more kills. What tasks they could carry out. hmm, I wonder.

 

That's my thoughts - 1/4 chance we kill MITO who might be an important townie, 2/4 chance we get nothing at all, 1/4 chance we find out who MITO is.

Surely the better idea is to have Valley investigate MITO and have a 100% chance of finding out who he is?

Nutjob should be going after the quiet players who are now likely to be the Mafia all trying to hide. With no cartel, even a weak Mafia has a good chance of winning.

 

Yep, I did say higher up that it is better than a regular townie. just wouldn't be the end of the world to lose the role either IMO

PS...within the twelve innocents, their is a secret role of some description. I don't know if the player already knows about this or if the rest of us will be told its been activated if it wasn't from the start.

 

Well, you have to think about the total game setup. The Cartel was effectively a Zombie / Vampire team in that they recruit and grow. Theoretically, they should have two members now and with the number of players, it was unlikely that Pablo would be caught so early. The fact the Pablo role landed on a targeted player was very unfortunate.

But yes, as it stands the MAfia would look quite weak with just two kills

It doesn't say anything about bullets for the Mafia, it says hits.

They have two hits. Valley reported seeing MITO with a knife. Does this count as a hit or is it their secret power? If it is the secret power then they still have two hits left with the possibility of gaining more.

 

He only gets a report of Town or Non-Town so if we go with that option, lets hope the SK isn't activated eh? (assuming Tobes is indeed Pablo)

Just a turn of phrase fella, I meant kills. A hit is a kill regardless of method, Hit is another word for attack.

 

Surely SK is non town, so that would show up?

So either MITO is Mafia or MITO is PI pressured by Mafia. Can't see any scenario in which MITO is SK - if he was then he wouldn't claim to be PI as that would just risk him being recruited by Cartel or killed by Mafia.

What I meant was, if Valley gets a non-town report and the assumption would then be that Tennis is innocent. But if the SK was activated and it happened to be MITO, the report would still say non-town. I was only joking though as I can't see AFC selected anyone but a regular townie.

We don't know who the SK is yet but I'm pretty certain it will be one of the nine players that currently think they are a innocent boring townie.

 

So unless the Mafia have earn more hits, they currently only have one left.

Edit: I may be reading too much into this but, if the Mafia used a secret power to force MITO into killing Biscan, wouldn't they want it to look like a Mafia hit...? Therefore...

By definitions a hit doesn't necessarily mean a kill either, as a 'hit' is simply an attack Looking at the context AFC used in the rules I think we can assume a hit is just a kill and it can be by any method. Ignore me and Bullets, I meant kill. We're overthinking it. Acf's context in the rules shows we are.

 

Overthinking like you want the attention to go away from your Mafia roots or over thinking it screenshot style?
