Applications are made by the company responsible for the build. I made one in our company name for a school swimming pool, as we were responsible for the whole project. It's a pain, as you keep getting people call you selling their wares!! You can pick up a lot of info off a lead generation company telling you the status of planning applications. We have one but not for Wales, as you pay for certain areas costs a lot of money.
Yes because it's a commercial building, obviously the landlord has to approve the change as well. A lot of commercial building like bank branches, supermarket buildings and so on are on full repair and insurance leases, which means that the leaser are responsible for that. It normally also means that they responsible for health and safety stuff as well
Cheers Jagar - but aren't there joint tenants/lessors, namely the Swans and the Ospreys? Seems that the O's aren't named on the application.
Permission has been given by the Council - that really is everything. Any concerns local residents, the Police or highways had would have been considered by the Planning authority prior to making their decision. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-west-wales-25846415 The issue at the moment is with regards ownership of the stadium. Why would we even want to own the stadium if expansion was not possible?
Planning permission has already been given lads!! I stated that earlier in the thread, forget Dai's ramblings, he's just on a windup as per usual..........
Wake up and smell the coffee lads and you wont make up all these false hopes. Until roads, parking and many other issues are sorted then the only extension we will ever see is the media extension. Thats the fact of the matter however many years you keep thinking it will happen....A new stadium is the only way we will ever get the size we want so face the facts or you will be living a pipe dream that can never happen.....sorry guys im a realist who has asked many questions to people who would know and we are no more closer today than we were when this pipe dream started......
Dai the realist has spoken from his planet. Now in the real world the expansion will be done, and the purchase of the stadium will probably be done first. So do we believe the holdup of the expansion is due to the purchasing of the stadium or people sniffing coffee?
keep dreaming and ignore the facts....the stadium was offered to us ages ago on the cheap......still nothing .....are you smelling the coffee and waking up yet or will you still be saying the same thing year after year....
Do you all get it? Dai wants a new stadium, that's because this one is getting far too old, being over 10 years old and all that............
Wrong.....It would be ideal to buy the liberty and expand it to 30k -35k but like i said im a realist and have taken an interest in this from day one and unfortunately it cant be done. squeezing in 2 or 3 k is not the answer, We need action as we are the second smallest ground in the premiership and if we cant do it now when we have the funds then sorry it will never happen....every switched on fan can see that as we keep talking about it but nothing is happening and why is that??? because its not feasible and never will be unless the council got a minimum of 100m to spare and you know the answer to that.....
The Liberty expansion and the purchase of the Stadium is still very much on with work to commence early next year. Negotiations to buy the stadium are in the final stages and will hopefully be concluded by the end of the year.
We will be right up the river without a paddle if we buy the stadium without first the expansion been built. We are nowhere near being allowed the expansion we need today as we were last week.last month, last year or the day we moved into the liberty. Nobody who will be effected by just a minimal expansion want it and while that is the case then the council can grant as many applications as it wants it still wont go ahead......and that's the problem the club faces. Why do you think nothing has been done even though the council is giving the place away as its a drain on council resources... But if we do end up buying the liberty with all the expenses that will go with that then it free's up the council and puts the problems firmly in our court and we still wont get the expansion we need.....and that's a fact.
Dai clearly you don't know what you are talking about. This is a complex issue and it takes time to sort.
Why has work not started its been long enough.. keep dreaming i know more than most on here........it wont happen, it cant happen until the numerous major problems have been solved and that is the crux of the situation......Its a no brainer why nothing has started
