Our pre-season fixtures are due to be released later today, so I'll update this when they are, but already announced... North Ferriby United v Hull City AFC - Fri 17th Jul (7.30pm). Chesterfield v Hull City AFC - Tuesday, July 21st (kick-off 7.30pm). Sheffield United v Hull City AFC - Sun 2nd Aug (3pm)
Signed up for next season according to the HDM, though there's still the 'free to find other clubs' thing, so you never know.
Only 2 players have left Ferriby so far from their squad from last year, theyve also brought in 3 more so far. Ferriby are also playing Grimsby at home, for those that are interested.
I think there's a fair few gone, I believe Matt Wilson, Nathan Peat, Nathan Jarman and Gregg Anderson are among them and they're expecting more to go.
Don't believe the hype, it was 2 from the team who won at Wembley, a number of player have gone & a few new signings have come in..some gone are Peat, Jarman, D'Laryea, Anderson, Wilson The thing is that with great fanfares of wonderful signings come the news that some of the new players are in fact returning players who were pushed last year for not being good enough like Dean Lisles !!
Updated... North Ferriby United v Hull City AFC - Fri 17th Jul (7.30pm). Chesterfield v Hull City AFC - Tuesday, July 21st (kick-off 7.30pm). Sheffield United v Hull City AFC - Sun 2nd Aug (3pm)
The Tigers will prepare for the 2015/16 Sky Bet Championship campaign with a series of friendly matches against North Ferriby United, Chesterfield and Sheffield United. A short journey to the Eon Visual Media Stadium will see Steve Bruce’s side begin their pre-season campaign at North Ferriby on Friday 17th July (KO 7.30pm) for the annual Billy Bly Memorial Trophy match. The Tigers will then travel to League One side Chesterfield on Tuesday 21st July, with the game at the Spireites’ Proact Stadium kicking-off at 7.30pm. The away warm-up fixtures will then conclude with a trip to Bramall Lane to face League One Sheffield United on Sunday 2nd August (KO 3pm). As further fixtures are confirmed and announced they will be added to the list of pre-season fixtures above, with the club currently trying to organise two fixtures overseas towards the end of July (25th/26th or 28th/29th). http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/...es-confirmed-2486882.aspx#CUp5o0I2zCPuFZ8H.99 No home game again?
There's no boxing to disrupt it either. It's ridiculous not to have any home friendlies. Though Ferriby isn't exactly the furthest ground to go to...
It isn't, but a home game against a decent team would be nice. Leicester had Real Madrid a few years ago, was a great day, wish we could do something similar.
