Yea but they've already a rejected one offer from us so if we don't increase and agree it'll go to tribunal.
Dont get get get you mean about 2nd part. burnley had an offer of 12m for him and accepted, had he gone to Spurs they'd have pocketed that so if I was then I'd be saying, a player is only worth what a club is willing to bid... Well we had a formal bid of 12m which meets our valuation.
I I don't know how these tribunals are worked out but that would certainly be used if I was in burnleys side
I think the tribunal amount is based on compensation for development etc., i.e. it's cost based rather than a refelction of the player's worth, so any bids should be meaningless.
That said, the process appears to be a bit opaque so who knows what they may take into account.
