    It's all over papers.

I have an idle thought.... do you think Gerrard was asked by certain parties about things and gave both barrels to rodgers staff?

I think its a possibility at least

The vast majority of players are still behind Rodgers and his coaching staff - I don't know if Gerrard is/was one of them though.

Why are Rodgers subordinates being sacked for this season's failures ? Is Rodgers saying that the coaching staff is responsible except him?

This is weird and I wish someone would explain.

I doubt its that but I think each person could be individual review. Pascoe is the bigger story imo.

The conclusion is that BR has bent over and agreed to everything the owners have said to keep his job. He is now just a puppet for them.

The conclusion is that you are a wum that will look at everything with skewed logic in order to somehow have a go at LFC and anyone/thing associated with it.

There could only be 2 realistic options :

Rodgers was unhappy with the performance of his deputies and sacked them.

Or it had nothing to do with him. The top brass were unhappy with the coaching and got rid of them.

Either way it looks bad for Rodgers . He is blaming his staff or he stands by and let his people be hung.

Rodgers should have been sacked and wasn't.
Rodgers should stick by his staff and take responsibility and quit but didn't.

How the **** did we end up with this numpty still being in charge? We are plummeting in stature.

He should be big enough to say we win as a team and fail as a team. How could he possibly to do that? I didn't think much of him as a top manager but I thought at least he was a decent chap who would stand by his staff. Disappointing.

He didn't wait long to ditch his wife and change his teeth, what made you think he was a decent chap?

Posr #2 - You missed out Origi.

Maybe BR was told its either a] all of you go, b] two assistants go, you stay but work with an incoming DoF, say 'no' and it's back to a].

That was last year really like couts and henderson contracts. ... should I add those?

Anyway.... it could be lfc saying we gave him 4 year deal 12 month ago so we can't afford to cut him loose but all his staff can go.... it could be that they have said get shut and we will bring in X and y coaches now and the technical director later.

The thing is that raises questions... who is picking the coaches, who is deciding the affordability of sacking rodgers (or he is their man still) and does it show a disinterest in real results as sacking rodgers and paying him off should not stop them moving on if that's what they are preparing for.

    Could be.

The press were not very clear on John achterburg.. you stay for now. What does that mean?

Whoever it is doesn't take keeping coaching seriously? He's close to retirement? He is cheap? I dunno

They would also be mad to sack BR with no replacement lined up.. Who knows maybe Klopp really is taking a break, that may have been the deciding factor, other than him who realistically other than a BR MkII ?
