Could it be that there was a certain player in the kit launch photos that they didn't want to use in the photos? who is the shirt sponsor?

Actually that's an interesting point. Say for arguments sake they do take the photos in March and they get, perhaps half a dozen players in the shots in case they leave. What if a player volunteers and is then told "nah, it's ok. We'll get someone else". I imagine that's a pretty clear indication you're not staying!

Kits would have been made by now last year as well yet weren't released for a fair while.

The new kits were signed off months ago and they have the current badge on them.
 
We won't have 12bet as a sponsor for starters.

I'd like to keep our third kit from this season as our away kit if we aren't keeping the black one.
