And staying injury free - You'd hope he's getting over his dumb decisions issue, though maybe the FA Cup celebrations (while funny) may say otherwise.
This lad lacks the intelligence to become a top player!! You will never win the PL with this guy on the team sheet. It has been proven this season as your season got better with him on the sidelines. Sell to some dumb club willing to pay 20m!!
Wilshere has bags of talent and we have yet to see him perform at his true potential. Its just a phase he is going through, after all he is young. As for selling him, no chance.
S He has some talent but compared to others in the current squad, and those of the past his talent is hampered by his lack of intelligence.
How is his talent being hampered by his "lack of intelligence." He may not be the sharpest one but on the pitch it doesn't matter. Other than his tendency to dwell on the ball just a bit too long leading to him being fouled, he's plenty smart in and out of possession
The last time a player got slated (Ramsey), he ended up having a corker of a season, and is now the future of our midfield engine. Of course there is no guarantee that Wilshere will succeed but he has all the tools to make it as one of our regulars. It will be VERY tough for him with all the competition of places from Ozil, Cazorla, Ramsey and OXO, but he should get some chances over the coming season. It's up to him really, Wenger is putting a lot of faith in the lad and its up to him to deliver, injuries permitting.
Thanks Lazarus!! For his own sake and development Wilshere should try and model himself on the brilliant Xavi both on and off the pitch!!
We seem to be linked with everyone under the sun, including Kondogbia. A lot of hype surrounding him, is he the new Yaya Toure? I think having this type of player would add so much to our midfield. A Vieira type midfielder would certainly be a welcome addition.
http://www.independent.ie/sport/soc...-monaco-star-geoffrey-kondogbia-31274925.html Meanwhile, Arsenal defender Nacho Monreal has insisted he has no plans to leave the club despite interest in him from Spain - and has urged Arsenal to enter into talks over a new contract. The full-back said: "I am very lucky to play for Arsenal, and am very happy to play for Arsenal. If the boss wants me to stay, I will – and I’d like to extend my contract." The ball appears to be in our court....
I can't find the article yet, but there's an article on the Guardian website where Szczesny says he's staying, he's got a great relationship with Wenger and is willing to fight for his place.
Yeah I saw that as well, which was the day of/the day before the cup final, but this article was a day or two before, and was more focused on him staying at Arsenal, rather than focused on his dad talking bull and being a Tw@t. As it looks like he's pretty much staying, then I doubt we'll sign a keeper, as I can't see Wenger selling Ospina less than 12 months after signing him, during which time he's become 1st choice for the last 5 months. And there's no way that you'd be able to keep 3 keepers happy when they all want to be 1st choice.
